Hoxhunt in a nutshell

Hoxhunt was founded in 2016 by four visionaries. Today we are a team of +170 amazing people advancing one of the hottest scale-up companies in the human risk management category, with locations in the United States, Finland and the United Kingdom. The What

Hoxhunt's product analytics team is at the center of the company, working closely with our sales, tech, marketing and customer success departments. As the stakeholders come from both engineering and commercial parts of the organisation, product analysts balance in the interface of technology and management. The team gets to analyze user behavior from various perspectives to understand how to maximize our impact, the next steps for achieving it, and communicating it to the world. You don't need to be a finished Product talent – we will help you grow in the direction you want to grow towards. Our ideal candidate is someone who is interested in understanding our products' user behavior and analyzing data to build knowledge and communicate value. Understanding customers and users is key for building great products, and with great data analysis (your job) we can all trust we're betting on the right initiatives.

The When

The Summer Hunters program will last for three months, from 2nd of June to 30th of August. If all goes well over the summer, we hope you'll join us after the summer as a part-time or full-time software developer depending on your studies and situation. The timing is also negotiable if that exact slot doesn't suit you.

The Who

We are looking for someone with:

• Interest in product management, data and analytics
• Accuracy, attention to detail, analytical thinking and creative problem-solving ability
• Experience in SQL and with at least one scientific programming language such as Python, R, or Julia. Experience in (or at least eagerness to learn about!) BI tools is seen as benefit.
• Ability and confidence to identify correct questions from complex problems and communicate the takeaways in clear and actionable manner
• Studying or degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
• Fluent written and spoken English; other languages are seen as benefit
