Hoxhunt was founded in 2016 by four visionaries. Today we are a team of +180 amazing people advancing one of the hottest scale-up companies in the human risk management category, with locations in Finland and the United States.

Hoxhunt educates employees on how to protect themselves and their employers against malicious cyberattacks. Our core belief is that the best way to do this is through frequent, personalized, and behavior-changing cybersecurity training.

The What

We are looking for an assistant controller to help us with:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices: approving purchase invoices, creating and sending sales invoices and payment reminders.
• Handling expense reports: reviewing and processing expense claims.
• Updating and maintaining SaaS figures: ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Closing procedures: Participating in month-end and year-end closing activities for our four entities.
• Collaboration with our accounting firm: working closely with external accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Working on projects to improve and automate accounting processes and systems.
• Assisting the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects.

We envision this to be a perfect role for a newly graduated, future finance professional; a chance to apply all the newly acquired theoretical knowledge in practice. 

The salary band for this role is €3200 - €3500, with slight room to negotiate based on relevant working experience.

• A relevant degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field.
• Prior experience working in a finance team is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERPs (we use Netsuite), CRMs and other finance management systems are a plus.
• Good communication skills and strong team-working ability.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Finnish.

The How

Our recruitment process is as follows:

1. Initial call with Talent Acquisition (30min remote)
2. Meeting your future Team Lead (60min remote)
3. Homework assignment (90min independent work) and panel interview with our finance team (60 min on-site).
