Your Mission

Your mission is to help scale Hoxhunt’s core product platform in a way that keeps it resilient, secure, and intuitive for customers.

You turn growing complexity into clarity by building systems that support customer self-service, powerful reporting, and reliable integrations — enabling Hoxhunt to serve a rapidly expanding and increasingly diverse customer base.

You focus on impact: building the right things at the right time, with a clear understanding of how your work supports customers, the business, and long-term scalability.

Your Role

As a (Senior) Software Engineer, you are a full-fledged full-stack contributor — working on both the server and the frontend, and always thinking in systems rather than isolated features.

You work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to design, build, and evolve customer-facing tools and backend services. Over time, you are expected to take ownership of feature development end-to-end: from design decisions to implementation and rollout.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain Hoxhunt’s customer admin portal used to manage users, training, settings, reporting, and integrations

• Develop and evolve backend services with a strong focus on performance, reliability, observability, and data quality

• Improve and maintain existing systems and third-party integrations as customer needs and scale grow

• Build a resilient, scalable platform supporting multi-tenancy, advanced user segmentation, and granular access control

• Enable Hoxhunt’s self-service capabilities to better serve smaller and mid-sized customers

• Expand reporting capabilities that help customers understand and improve their security training outcomes

• Work in an agile, iterative development cadence where priorities evolve and continuous improvement is part of everyday work

What We’re Looking For

• Solid hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React

• Strong full-stack mindset, with the ability to work across backend and frontend when needed

• Experience building scalable, data-driven SaaS products or working in product-focused consulting roles

• Understanding of how to design secure, maintainable, and reliable systems

• Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-moving scale-up environment with changing priorities

• Fluent spoken and written English

Bonus Points If You Also:

• Have experience with GraphQL, MongoDB, or Go

• Have worked with integrations, user management, or reporting-heavy systems

• Bring a strong product mindset and enjoy collaborating closely with product and design

• Are familiar with agile ways of working and iterative product development

Location and salary range

This role is based out of our headquarters in Helsinki.

The salary range for the position is €5000–€6500, depending on your skills and experience.
