Senior Product Designer
Join Hoxhunt and build a purposeful product that defends companies from cybercrime, help support the cyber skills training for 4m+ users to make the world more cyber secure - in a human centric way.
Your Mission
Most product teams talk about being “AI-native.”
In practice, very few are willing to rethink how design actually happens because of it.
At Hoxhunt, that tension is already real.
Our product is used globally. Customers rely on it every day. And the parts of the platform where everything comes together, Admin, Integrations, and Reporting, are growing in complexity fast. These areas sit at the heart of trust, scale, and automation. When they work well, everything flows. When they don’t, everything slows down.
Your mission is to turn that complexity into clarity at scale.
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own some of the most critical parts of our platform and help shape how AI-assisted, system-driven, data-validated design evolves through real product work at Hoxhunt.
Your Role
You are a senior product designer who owns outcomes, not just deliverables.
You operate comfortably in the space where design, product, engineering, and founders meet. You take responsibility for the design direction of entire product areas, and you’re not afraid to make decisions when the path isn’t obvious.
This role is for someone who feels at home when things are unfinished and evolving, and who enjoys shaping not just interfaces, but how product design is practiced.
You’ll thrive here if you recognize yourself in this:
You enjoy complex, constraint-heavy problems where simplicity has to be earned
You care deeply about craft and pixel-level quality
You think in systems and patterns, not one-off solutions
You already use AI in your design work on a daily basis, and are motivated to deepen and share this practice together with other designers and engineers
What You’ll Do
Design Ownership and Execution
You’ll own the product design of our Admin, Integrations, and Reporting product areas from start to finish. You’ll work independently while partnering closely with Product Managers and Developers to move work forward with momentum and clarity.
Your work begins with understanding real user needs and the constraints of the system. It ends with high-fidelity, visually polished designs that engineers can build without guesswork.
Part of your impact will come from reducing design debt. You’ll turn fragmented and legacy UI patterns into clear, reusable system components, making thoughtful decisions about what should be standardized, refactored, or retired across Figma and Storybook to support AI-powered workflows.
AI, Systems & Operations
You’ll use AI as a natural part of your everyday design process. Sometimes that means exploring ideas faster. Sometimes it means testing directions or removing repetitive work.
You’ll help shape practical ways of working where AI outputs respect our design system and translate cleanly into real, production code. When something breaks the system, it’s a signal to improve the system, not to work around it.
You’ll improve collaboration between design and engineering by introducing automation, conventions, or small tools that remove friction and repetition.
You’ll contribute to evolving our design system so it supports the product as it scales and remains usable both for designers today and for AI-assisted workflows as they mature.
Product Thinking & Validation
You approach design with clear assumptions instead of jumping straight to solutions. You think through what needs to be true for a design to succeed and let that guide your decisions.
You define early what success looks like by identifying the metrics and signals needed to evaluate whether a design is working in real use.
You work closely with Product Analytics to understand how designs actually perform, and you help the team learn from data and usage rather than relying on gut feeling.
What AI-Native Actually Means at Hoxhunt
This is not a role for an AI specialist. It’s a role for a strong product designer who is already experimenting or curious to work with AI in practice and wants to grow in this area.
We don’t expect anyone joining Hoxhunt to have this fully figured out. We’re building these ways of working together, through real product work, experimentation, and shared learning.
In practice, that means:
AI is used to remove busywork, not to impress anyone. It helps unblock early thinking and explore options so designers can spend more time on judgment and product decisions.
The design system stays in control. AI outputs are only valuable if they follow our components, patterns, and constraints and can realistically be built. Anything that bypasses the system is noise.
The path from idea to production feels shorter. Fewer handoffs. Less rewriting. Less back-and-forth. Not magic - just better flow.
We design for reality, not best-case scenarios. AI makes questions of trust, failure, and edge cases more important, not less.
What We’re Looking For
This role requires strong SaaS product design fundamentals and the ability to own complex, system-heavy product areas in production.
5+ years experience working as a product designer with a strong portfolio.
Systemic Proficiency: Deep proficiency in Figma, with a comfort level in utilizing and leading design systems development.
AI Literacy: Experience and/or strong interest in AI tools (e.g., v0, Lovable, LLM prompting for code/UI) and integrating them into design workflows.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with how designs translate to code (React, Storybook) to effectively bridge the gap between Figma and production.
Data Literacy: Ability to define success metrics for tracking impact of design choices.
Pixel-perfect design skills: Ability to maintain our high bar for pixel perfect UIs and UX when solving complex B2B/Admin problems.
We value concrete examples over buzzwords, and we’re interested in how you’ve already experimented with AI in your design work, what worked, what didn’t, and how you see AI-assisted design evolving.
Bonus Points If You Also:
Previous expertise in designing B2B SaaS Admin or Reporting experiences
Experience writing custom Figma plugins or scripts to automate workflows
Why Join Hoxhunt?
Because design genuinely matters here.
You’ll work on a globally used product in a scale-up where ownership, speed, and craft are real values, not slogans. You’ll help shape how AI and design come together in practice, and you’ll leave a visible mark on how Hoxhunt scales its platform and its design culture.
