What You’ll Do
As a Solution Engineer at Hoxhunt, you’ll be the technical backbone of our customer journey, connecting product capabilities to real-world customer environments with precision, creativity, and a “solve-anything” mindset. This role blends deep expertise across integrations, identity, security, and automation with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, reliable solutions.
You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to guide customers through discovery, implementation, and long-term technical success. Ideal candidates bring a strong technical foundation, a natural curiosity, and a hacker-oriented
approach to problem-solving, always finding a path forward, even when a turnkey solution doesn’t yet exist.
The What

Lead Technical Integrations & Architecture
Design and support integrations across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
Guide customers through API integrations, authentication flows, and architecture design
Configure and validate secure data exports to customer cloud storage and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Support email authentication and deliverability configurations (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, routing)
Own Technical Onboarding & Deployment
Lead technical onboarding for enterprise and complex customer environments
Develop structured implementation plans aligned with customer IT and security teams
Support deployments within Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Google Workspace
Validate configurations and automation flows to ensure scalability and performance
Partner on Pre- and Post-Sales Technical Discovery & Solution Design
Partner with Sales and Customer Success on technical discovery and solution design
Translate customer requirements into clear, executable implementation approaches
Provide technical credibility during customer conversations
Help scope effort, constraints, and architectural considerations for complex deal
Support Security, Identity & Compliance
Address advanced customer questions around networking, DNS, authentication, and data protection
Support identity and access management planning (Entra ID, Okta, Ping, SailPoint, Saviynt, etc.)
Guide secure SCIM provisioning and SAML SSO implementations
Ensure alignment between customer security requirements and platform capabilities
Build Scalable Technical Foundations & Partnerships
Serve as a product expert for the US team
Partner with Product and Engineering to resolve complex issues and drive smoother, faster technical delivery
Build and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and onboarding playbooks
Identify recurring technical challenges and design scalable, repeatable solution
The Who
4–7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar) supporting enterprise SaaS
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online and/or Google Workspace in complex environments
Experience implementing identity and access integrations, including SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern API-based integrations (GraphQL preferred)
Working knowledge of security and email authentication ecosystems (IAM, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Own complex, ambiguous technical problems and drive them to resolution in real customer environments
Translate technical complexity into clear recommendations that guide customer decisions and influence cross-functional execution across Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering
This full-time hybrid role is based out of our Minneapolis office, offering a salary range of $145,000-$155,000 with an OTE range of $175-$194,000.
